New Milestone

Eva falls asleep by herself now, no more pull-ups and getting excited to listen and repeat more French words.

The balloons are great for creating trinkets, though the little recipients are better to be made on bowls.

Eva loves the French Camp. She said she likes to watch movies in French because it sounds more serious. I have no idea what she means by "serious" but she really was excited this morning when she got there. And they serve popcorn!

Eva got into Chess too. She loves it!

Oh Nooo!!!

The Garden is closed

First beets!

Sauteed Swiss chards, and Beet Greens for dinner. We had a great season. We grew lots of watercress, carrots, lettuce, tomatoes and harvested beets and garlic for the first time. Carrots were small, the radishes didn't produce but leaves. Zucchini squashes didn't mature :(  

We planted the corn a bit too late in the season. The garden is closed for the summer until we move back with a new location in the backyard. Hopefully with a compost and more vegetables and lots of flowers (hopefully Milkweed for the Monarch butterflies) to attract pollinators!
