The Superstition Mountain Lost Dutchman Museum

The Lost Dutchman and his beautiful Apache Maiden

Last fall in Tucson, we discovered the works of Ted DeGrazia. Last weekend, we encountered his Superstition collection. He spent some time here, and like the Lost Dutchman a century before, he roamed the Superstition Mountain.

The Barn, The Gallows, the Windmill, the 20-Stamp Mill, and the Elvis Memorial Chapel.

The Apacheland Ranch Studio and the Superstition Mountains. The Studio hosted many movies and stars back in the old days. Destroyed in 2004, it was rebuilt near the Museum.

Goldfield Ghost Town. Former gold mine town turned into a tourist attraction set at the foot of the Superstition Mountain.
