Nuts and Wheels

En route to the Orange Park. Once we were back, we had a yummy snack: mango, pineapple, banana smoothie with pecan nuts (picked at the farm by Susan, Mark and the kids at Camp Verde) and pistachios (like her Daddy, Eva loves pistachios), with a cup of chai tea - Susan has the best chai tea from Oregon. She always makes it when we come to visit.

Après l'effort, un peu de réconfort.

After those scientific experiments, we went in the garden to relax. While listening to Radio Magic, Eva took care of the garden and Mom picked some lettuce out of our vegetable garden.

Beads, Buttons, and Color Matching

According to Miss Stacy, Eva loves color matching. She spent the whole afternoon, matching the beads to the right color. Color contrasting is fun too. The sound of pouring the plastic beads in a jar is very delightful as well.

That's a match!

Cutting, Gluing, Grading

Everyday, I lay out some activities for Eva to do on the coffee table when she comes back from school (maybe a good habit to have for the later home works). Today, I got three activities : matching the letters with the pictures, writing or cutting.

She picked the cutting.

Gluing, and grading : it took 15 minutes or so.
