California - Palm Springs / Mount San Jacinto

 Up we go on top of Mount San Jacinto.

Riding into the 1963 Aerial Tramway. The cables are from Switzerland.

Brrrr... It is much cooler up there.

Lots of bird swirling around the meadow.

This is a midden. Squirrels' pine cones stash. They gathered them and pluck the nuts out of them.

The Jeffrey pine smells like vanilla.
