Limoncello

We made homemade limoncello for the first time. Surprisingly, it came out really good. We've got some arancello steeping and that should be ready in about a week. Next, we're going to try some flavored olive oils.

Our small batch recipe:

1 750ml Everclear
7 lemons (washed, waxed, zested)

Steeped for 25 days

Zest filtered out and simple syrup added.

Simple syrup:
1.5 cups of sugar (organic)
2 cups water

Bottles: Cost Plus $2.99 ea.
